Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse for a contract full-time position in Gainesville, FL. The RN will provide comprehensive care for patients with mental health and substance use concerns, applying clinical judgment and coordinated care across settings.

Minimum requirements include active RN licensure (in-state), with preferred psych experience and PMH-BC certification. Competitive pay, weekly paychecks, and benefits are offered.

The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse, works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.
