Job summary

Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric LPN in Gainesville, FL for a contract-full-time role. You will apply nursing processes and deliver patient care in a psychiatric unit, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

The position requires an active LPN license and prefers 1 year of psychiatric/behavioral health experience. You will play a key role in patient assessment, safety, and documentation while adhering to professional standards and state regulations.

Qualifications

• Current LPN license in state of assignment.
• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health setting preferred.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

The Psychiatric orMental/Behavioral Health LPN is responsible and accountable for the applicationof the nursing process and the delivery of patient care in the psychiatric unitof a hospital, mental health/behavioral health hospital, or they can be responsiblefor care in community settings.

The LPN must demonstrate the ability to make clinicaljudgments in an effective and efficient manner with the supervision of aRegistered Nurse and in collaboration with the care team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current LPN license in state of assignment

• 1 year experience in a psychiatric or behavioral health caresetting preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice

• Current CPR if applicable
