Amergis is seeking a Psychiatric/Mental Health Registered Nurse to deliver comprehensive care for patients with mental health and substance use disorders in a psych hospital setting in Denver, CO. The role emphasizes prevention, education, assessment, and treatment with strategic clinical judgment.

The position offers a 36/48 hour rotating schedule, 13 or 24 week contracts, orientation, and benefits including competitive pay, insurance, and a 401(k).

• TB Questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Job description

The Psychiatric/Mental Health (PMH) Registered Nurse, requires a wide range of nursing, psychosocial, and neurobiological expertise. PMH nurses promote well-being through prevention and education, in addition to the assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of mental health and substance use disorders. The nurse demonstrates ability to make clinical judgments in an effective and efficient manner and demonstrates critical thinking and performance ability in the coordination of patient care. The PMH RN works in a variety of settings and provides comprehensive care to individuals, families, and communities when applicable.

Local Pay: $60/hr

Travel Pay: $2,699 gross weekly for 36 hours

$3,599 gross weekly for 48 hours

Setting: Psych Hospital

Location: Denver, CO

Hours: 36/48 hour rotating schedule

Orientation is 40 hours for the first 2 weeks on day shift

Notes: must have 1 year of inpatient psych experience

Start: 1st and 3rd week of every month with the exception of July and December only having one start date

Contract Length: 13 or 24 weeks
