We are a fast-paced, high-energy 19-bed floor comprising a 13-bed Intensive Care Unit and a 6-bed Transitional Care Unit (step-down). We function as one team with excellent teamwork to provide top-quality care to our patients. Our dedicated team works together to ensure patients receive the lifesaving care they need.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
• Licensure: Must obtain and maintain a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, meeting all state board of nursing requirements
• Physical requirements: Ability to push, pull, and lift 50 pounds regularly; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat
• Certifications:
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) or successful completion within 30 days of hire
  • Other unit-specific certifications as required or within the department's timeframe
