Position Summary
The ICU RN provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Meets the physical, psychosocial, religious/cultural, and needs of the patient and family. Communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team about changes in the patient’s condition or response to treatment. Basic PC skills.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Education
Associate degree required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Required Licenses
Registered Nurse license in North Carolina (or compact state).
Required Certification
BLS required; ACLS within 6 months of hire.
Other
1 year of healthcare experience preferred.
