Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City is seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse for the ICU on nights. This full-time role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for experienced nurses and not currently accepting new graduate applications.

You will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for adult/geriatric ICU patients, delivering compassionate, professional care in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Current Oklahoma RN License.
• BLS & ACLS certified; NIHSS to be obtained if new to the unit within 3 months.
• Completes hospital and unit competencies within 3 months and annually.

Responsabilités

• Provide nursing care for ICU patients in all phases of care.
• Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care.

Overview:

Critical Care Registered Nurses are accountable for the provision of nursing care of assigned patients in all phases of care in the ICU. The Registered Nurse, utilizing theoretical concepts as a basis for decisions in practice will assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care in accordance with standards of nursing practice for adult/geriatric patients.

Qualifications:

• Education: Must be a graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• Licensure: Current Oklahoma RN License
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS certified. Required certifications must be current before assigned to care for patients independently. NIHSS; if new to the unit nurse will obtain within the first three months of employment in Critical Care
• Other: Completes Hospital and Unit Specific nursing competency within 3 months of employment and annually, submits to Nurse Manager/ Education Coordinator.
