Qualifications

Job description

Responsibilities

This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and up to $24,000 in Student Loan Assistance.

Provides nursing care according to the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementing, and evaluating. Implements appropriate nursing care interventions. Administers medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established policies. Care is based on standards of patient care and evidence-based nursing practice.

Essential Key Job Responsibilities
  1. Acquire necessary knowledge and skills for patient care in the practice setting.
  2. Perform assessments and analyze patient problems to determine intervention needs.
  3. Implement or modify care plans using assessment data, standards, and evidence-based practices, including education and discharge planning. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams.
  4. Deliver care ethically, respecting patient autonomy, dignity, and rights.
  5. Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies and procedures.
  6. Evaluate patient progress towards outcomes.
  7. Observe and reassess patients and responses to interventions.
  8. Document assessments and interventions per hospital policies.
  9. Use resources appropriately and follow guidelines for documentation and supplies.
  10. Delegate tasks to support personnel based on patient needs and task complexity.
  11. Support orientation, training, and development of new employees and students.
  12. Other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications

Required Education: Graduate of an accredited nursing school.

Required Licensure and Certifications: Current RN license in Kentucky, BLS certification.
