Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit. This full-time day shift (7am–7pm) role emphasizes patient-centered critical care with a collaborative team approach.

You will provide direct care from admission to discharge, support families and teammates, and participate in unit initiatives to promote clinical excellence. Indiana RN license and required certifications must be active.

Qualifications

• Current Indiana or compact state RN license.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider required.
• ACLS Certification required (obtained within 12 months of hire).
• NIHSS Stroke Certification required (obtained within 10 weeks of hire).

Responsibilities

• Provide direct comprehensive nursing care from admission to discharge.

The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers.**About the Unit:**The Intensive Care Unit is a 16-bed adult medical ICU providing specialized care for a variety of critically ill patients, including those with: stroke; sepsis; shock states with or without multi-organ failure; and respiratory failure.
