Baptist Health Floyd in New Albany, IN, is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Emergency Department on a part-time schedule (24 hours per week). Shifts run 9:00 AM–9:00 PM, with every 4th weekend rotation.

## Emergency Department RN Part Time 9A-9PApply: New Albany, IN: Part time: Posted Today: R26107988**Summary****Job Description:**## **Seeking Registered Nurse!**## **Baptist Health Floyd, Emergency Department Part-Time (24 hours/week), Days (9am-9pm), Every 4th Weekend**## **Benefit Eligible**# **Job Duties:**In this role, the RN will be responsible and accountable for direct comprehensive nursing care for the patient. The Registered Nurse will function as an on-shift team member providing direct patient care to meet the needs of patients, families, and co-workers. **About the Unit:**The Emergency Department (ED) has 41 beds divided between two pods with 37 private rooms. A split-flow area is located near main triage and provides care to lower acuity patients. Split flow varies from 5-8 patients and is run by 1-2 nurses and a mid-level provider. This fast-paced ED treats an average of 160+ patients per day. ED staff encounter a wide variety of patients including acute cardiovascular and neurovascular emergencies, general medical emergencies, traumatic injuries, and psychiatric patients. The ED is recognized by the American Heart Association as both a STEMI receiving center and a designated Primary Stroke Center.
