Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse to join a specialized Cardiovascular Neuro ICU in Alexandria, VA for a 13-week contract. The 16-bed unit runs 12-hour nights with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering a high-acuity ICU experience.

You will manage titratable drips (norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin) and interpret Phillips telemetry. An ECG exam is required on day two, making this assignment both challenging and rewarding for a dedicated critical-care nurse.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in the United States; Virginia license preferred.
• ICU nursing experience with cardiovascular/neuro patients.
• Ability to pass ECG exam on day 2.
• Experience managing titratable drips in critical care.
• Strong telemetry interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage titratable drips (norepinephrine, epinephrine, vasopressin).
• Interpret Phillips telemetry data and monitor patient status.
• Provide care for high-acuity cardiovascular/neuro ICU patients.
• Collaborate with 16-bed unit and 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio.
• Complete 13-week assignment with 36 hours per week on 12-hour nights.
