Job summary

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a full-time ICU RN for a 16-bed Neuro ICU unit, primarily nights. The role focuses on vascular and neuro patient care, with a 7:00pm-7:00am schedule. Sign-on and relocation bonuses are offered for eligible candidates.

The ideal candidate has 1 year of critical care RN experience, a BSN or progress toward BSN, and active Virginia RN licensure with BLS certification. Inova provides comprehensive benefits and professional growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience as an RN in a critical care setting or completion of a critical care fellowship.
• BSN preferred; if RN has ADN, must complete BSN within 5 years of start date.
• BLS for Healthcare Provider Certification required (AHA).
• RN licensed or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for Neuro ICU/vascular patients on a 16-bed unit.
• Monitor neuro status, hemodynamics, and ventilator support as needed.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to develop and execute care plans.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.

Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking a full-time experienced ICU RN for our Cardiovascular Neuro ICU. This is a 16-bed unit focusing on vascular and neuro patient population.

Night shift – 7:00pm-7:00am.
Sign on Bonus and Relocation Bonus for those moving to the area.

• Licensure: RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as a RN

Preferred qualifications:

2 or more years of RN ICU experience.
