Role Overview

This role involves providing critical care to patients with life‑threatening conditions, closely monitoring vital signs and operating advanced medical equipment. Additionally, this involves administering medications, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and responding rapidly to changes in a patient’s condition. This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver compassionate care in high‑pressure environments.

Requirements

• 3 years of experience
• Flu Vaccine Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions and Declinations Allowed
• Trauma Level I Experience Preferred
• Trauma Level II Experience Preferred
• BLS, ACLS required via American Heart Association; NIHSS required
• VA or Compact License in hand at the time of submittal
• EPIC Charting Proficiency Experience Required
• Skills required: Strong neuro experience required (post‑neurosurgical, EVD, and stroke), Vents, IV drip titration, Telemetry monitoring, Conscious Sedation, Dysrhythmia and emergency management
• 3 years of Critical Care experience preferred, will consider strong candidates with less than 3 years
• Travel experience preferred

Schedule

• Shift: Night 4x12‑Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
• Float Required Must be willing to float to Stepdown Unit. May also be floated to ED/MedSurg to care for ICU patients being
• Weekend Coverage: Every Other
