Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Kentucky is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for ICU/CCU to provide and coordinate patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will administer medications, monitor ventilator and vital signs, coordinate discharge planning, and communicate patient needs using electronic documentation; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred and BLS/ACLS are required.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or compact state.
• ICU experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• BLS required.
• Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.
• Serve as primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition using computerized documentation systems.
• Assess and coordinate patient discharge planning needs with healthcare team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

What you will do in this role:
