Job summary

TriStar Greenview Regional Hospital in Bowling Green, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse to coordinate patient care and collaborate with physicians and a multidisciplinary team. You will administer medications, monitor vital signs, and participate in discharge planning to ensure safe transitions.

The role requires KY RN licensure or compact state, BLS, ACLS within six months, and 1–2 years of clinical nursing experience; ICU experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or compact state.
• ICU experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• BLS required.
• ACLS within 6 months of hire or transfer from non ICU area.
• One to two years clinical nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications, change dressings, monitor vital signs.
• Provide respiratory and ventilator management and monitoring.
• Coordinate patient care as primary multi-disciplinary lead.
• Monitor and document patient condition using computerized systems.
• Coordinate discharge planning with the care team.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Registered nurses provide and coordinate care for patients. The Registered nurseis responsible forcollaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary team members to provide physical and psychological support to patients and their families.

Daily responsibilities of the Registered nurse include but are not limitedto:assessments and reassessments, developing individualized plans of care, medication administration, documentation, education, proper maintenance of equipment, and communication of patient needs.

**What you will do in this role:**

• **You will administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, andmonitorvital signs.**
• **You will provide respiratory, ventilator management, and monitoring for patients.**
• **You will serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.**
• **You willmonitor, record, and communicate patient condition asappropriate utilizingcomputerized documentation systems.**
• **You will assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of your healthcare team.**

**What qualifications you will need:**

• **RN licensure by KY Board of Nursing or a Board of Nursing from a compact state.**
• ICU experience preferred.
• **Bachelor’s degree is preferred**
• **BLSrequired**
• **Must obtain ACLS within 6 Months of hire or transfer fromnon ICUarea**
