Job summary

PeaceHealth is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a full-time, 0.9 FTE night shift position. You will provide expert critical care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and document care within the EHR. The role emphasizes growth, safety, and high-quality patient outcomes.

Ideal candidates hold an accredited nursing degree, RN license, BLS, and ICU experience, with ACLS and NIHSS training within six months of hire. Relocation and hiring bonuses may be available.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current RN license.
• BLS certification by hire.
• At least 1 year ICU experience within the last 36 months.
• Competency in critical care nursing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to critically ill patients using evidence-based practices.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans.
• Monitor patient conditions and respond quickly to changes in clinical status.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record.
• Delegate and coordinate care activities per team members’ scope.
• Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and infection prevention initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
• Minimum of one year of recent ICU experience within the last 36 months.
• Demonstrated competency in critical care nursing practice.

Preferred

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
