Job summary

HCHcares in Indiana seeks an experienced ICU Nurse to join a dedicated team responsible for critically ill patients. You will collaborate with adult hospitalists to provide around-the-clock coverage and comprehensive patient care in a family-centered environment.

The role requires nursing accreditation, Indiana RN licensure, and the ability to interpret cardiac rhythms, with a focus on patient safety, education, and quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of pathophysiology and nursing process required.
• Pharmacology and nursing interventions essential.
• Ability to interpret cardiac rhythms and monitor patients.

Responsibilities

• Supervises nursing personnel activities daily and participates in the delivery of general nursing duties.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatment following approved nursing procedures and physician order.
• Observes patients, records significant conditions and reactions, and notifies supervisor or physician of conditions and significant incidents.
• Prepares equipment and aids physician during treatment and examinations of patients.
• Assesses patient vital signs to detect deviations from normal and determines patient progress.
• Has daily responsibility in areas of personnel assignments, supervising licensed and non-licensed personnel, patient placement, cost containment, patient and family education and customer satisfaction.

If you like caring for critically ill patients our Intensive Care Unit has opening for experienced nurses. Our nurses work as a team and treat each other and our patients like family.
