Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking an experienced RN for ICU coverage in Texas on a 13-week assignment. The unit features 22 beds with a staff of 58 and a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio on the night shift. You will manage pressors, art lines, and critical drips, ensuring patient safety and high-quality care.

This assignment requires an active RN license, 1+ year of ICU experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications. Weekend shifts may be required, with adherence to scheduling policies and unit procedures.

Qualifications

• Must have active RN license and critical care experience.
• Experience with pressor medications and art lines required.
• Strong skills in managing arterial/central lines and critical drips.
• Night shift readiness and ability to adapt to unit needs.

Responsibilities

• Perform ICU nursing duties in a 22-bed unit.
• Assist with bronchoscopy, CVC/ART line procedures as needed.
• Monitor patients with critical care devices and therapies.

Description:The unit features 22 beds and a staff of 58.Staff composition includes 1 CNC and 11 nurses on the night shift.Patient ratios are 1:2.The unit is equipped with CRRT, vents, MTP, hemospheres, art line, Impella, IABP, CABG, EVD, and TTM.The EMR system in use is Meditech.

Preferred skills may include experience with critical drip management, art line, and circulatory devices.Typical procedures performed include bronchoscopy, and CVC and art line insertion.The ideal candidate will be flexible and adaptable to unit needs.

Work requirements include adherence to attendance policies and scheduling commitments.Weekend shifts may be expected, with a requirement for 4 weekend shifts per scheduling period.
