Job summary

HCA Florida Lake City Hospital in Lake City, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit on a 13-week contract, night shift (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM).

You will be joining a skilled team at Lake City Medical Center, a 91-bed facility known for its range of services including interventional cardiology and an accredited chest pain center. The hospital is recognized for its commitment to patient safety and quality care.

You will work in the Intensive Care Unit, providing critical care to patients who require constant monitoring and complex care management.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients in the ICU.
• Monitor patient conditions and vital signs continuously.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions and treatment plans.

Required Experience

Previous experience in an Intensive Care Unit setting is preferred.

Certifications/Licensure

Current RN license in the state of Florida is required. BLS and ACLS certifications are preferred.
