CP01 Carilion Medical Center in Virginia is looking for a registered nurse to provide exceptional care and coordinate patient services. You will work closely with the healthcare team to address diverse patient needs across various settings while utilizing your clinical expertise.

Employment Status: Variable / Flex Shift: Day (United States of America) Facility: 2331 Franklin Rd - Roanoke. This position requires a minimum of 8 hours per month and a maximum of 29 hours per week and will be based on clinical need. The General Orthopedics clinic focuses on non-surgical orthopedic problems such as acute fractures, sprains, degenerative diseases and more. Clinic staff assist the provider to maintain a smooth clinic and patient satisfaction with collaborative teamwork.
As a registered nurse, you are expected to consistently deliver the best in care and customer service and demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with our patients, their families, visitors, and with each other. As part of the health care team, RNs assume primary accountability for nursing coordination and provision of individualized care for patients of all ages. The registered nurse also utilizes delegation and critical thinking skills to provide quality service through a team oriented, collaborative approach to patient care.
Education: Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
Licensure/Certification: Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
Other: Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC).
