The Registered Nurse I at the Medical University of South Carolina delivers individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process. Under general supervision, you will assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, collaborate with the health care team, and promote patient safety and comfort.

This regular, full-time role requires a BSN preferred or enrollment in BSN program, SC RN licensure, and BLS certification.

Qualificações

• BSN preferred; RN with SC or compact state licensure required.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• Minimum of one year RN experience recommended.

Responsabilidades

• Provides nursing care to patients using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).
• Directs and leads other assigned team members and collaborates with multidisciplinary team.
• Delivers patient/family centered care, focusing on physical, emotional, spiritual, cultural and environmental needs.
