Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of school of professional nursing or approved program eligible to sit for VA licensure exam.
• Current VA RN license or eligibility to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
• AHA BLS-HCP required; ACLS/PALS/NRP based on unit.
• Computer skills for EPIC electronic medical record.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing coordination and individualized care for patients of all ages.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document care and education in the EMR; ensure patient/family education is addressed.
