Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking a Part-time Registered Nurse in the Nursing Administration department at Aurora Sinai Medical Center. 24 hours per week, with a Weekend Program (Sat/Sun) and 0300-1530 shifts; benefits eligible. Requires RN license, a Bachelor's in Nursing, and typically 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

This role collaborates with physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient care, participate in safety processes, and support patient admissions and transfers as needed.

Qualifications

• RN license in the state where you practice.
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required.
• Typically 3 years of clinical nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Participates and assists staff with clinical nursing problems.
• Collaborates with MDs to ensure optimal patient care and efficient resource use.
• Acts as patient advocate and responds to patient/visitor concerns.
• Investigates patient incidents and documents corrective actions.
• Manages patient admissions, transfers, and discharges to support timely care.
