Job summary

AdventHealth in Illinois seeks a Part-Time Nurse Supervisor to oversee after-hours shifts at Glendale Heights. You will manage hospital personnel, reassign duties, and ensure patient care standards are maintained during night weekends.

Requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing, RN license, and 1+ supervisory experience; BLS/ACLS required. Weekend night schedule 7:00pm–7:30am, Saturdays and Sundays.

Qualifications

• RN license required.
• 1+ supervisory/charge nurse experience required.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provides clinical and administrative supervision after regular business hours.
• Manages hospital personnel and resources to meet standards and goals.
• Reassigns employees to optimize skills and workloads.
• Makes regular rounds to identify problems and facilitate resolution.
• Reviews reports and initiates appropriate actions.
• Participates in nursing and hospital committees as assigned.
• Attends meetings to resolve problems and plan actions.
• Coordinates resources to address unanticipated hospital situations.
• Reviews and interprets hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborates with nursing leaders to coordinate hospital activities.
