Job summary

Brightwell is seeking a House Supervisor in Michigan to ensure quality nursing care and supervise nursing staff during a designated shift. You will develop work schedules to maintain adequate unit coverage and oversee admissions during the shift, while applying Brightwell’s policies.

The role requires Michigan RN license, 1–3 years psychiatric and supervisory experience preferred, with responsibilities including staffing adjustments, disciplinary actions, chart audits, and acting as a preceptor.

Qualifications

• Current Michigan RN license.
• One to three years of psychiatric experience preferred.
• One to two years of supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to ensure appropriate delivery of nursing care.
• Adjusts staffing to ensure proper coverage in collaboration with the Nurse Manager.
• Direct admissions during the shift and ensure compliance with policies.
• Provides supervision to staff nurses and behavioral care specialists.
• Participates in emergencies and initiates disciplinary actions when needed.
