Responsibilities

• Administer and document medications and treatments as ordered.
• Transcribe physician orders accurately.
• Update resident care plans monthly.
• Monitor and report significant changes in resident condition.
• Communicate transfers and complete transfer documentation.
• Assist physicians with rounds and treatments.
• Collect and document laboratory specimens.
• Supervise nursing assistants to ensure plan of care is followed.
• Ensure nursing assistant documentation is complete and compliant.
• Provide direct resident care as needed.
• Assist with orientation and training of new staff.
• Adjust staffing to support quality resident care.
• Attend care plan conferences and staff meetings.
• Complete incident reports accurately.
