Job summary

Uvalde Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse House Supervisor to lead nursing operations during overnight shifts. You will provide clinical leadership, coordinate staffing, and support patient flow across departments to ensure safe, efficient care.

The role requires a Texas RN license, BSN preferred, and current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and ENPC certifications. Previous supervisory experience is preferred for this on-site leadership position.

Qualifications

• Active Texas RN license required.
• BSN preferred.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, ENPC certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of clinical nursing experience.
• 2+ years supervisory or management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and support to nursing staff across hospital departments during assigned night shifts.
• Monitor staffing levels and skill mix to meet patient care needs.
• Coordinate admissions, transfers, and bed utilization.
• Respond to Code Blue and other emergencies, supporting rapid response teams.
• Communicate operational information to leadership for shift transitions.
