Job summary

MountainView Regional Medical Center in Las Cruces, NM is seeking a Supervisor, House - RN to provide leadership during assigned shifts, oversee hospital operations, and ensure safe, high‑quality patient care. The role acts as the administrative point of contact during evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays; coordinates patient flow, staffing, emergencies, and compliance with policies.

RN license and BLS/ACLS required; 1–2 years leadership experience preferred; strong communication and team

Qualifications

• RN license required (state licensure and/or compact)
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• 1–2 years related nursing leadership experience preferred
• Strong leadership and communication skills required to lead staff and ensure safety and quality care

Responsibilities

• Oversee staffing and patient flow during assigned shifts
• Coordinate admissions, discharges, transfers, and bed utilization
• Act as administrator on call during evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
• Respond to emergencies and coordinate resources to ensure safety and quality care
• Provide clinical guidance and supervision to nursing staff
• Monitor census and ensure regulatory compliance and quality standards
• Foster effective communication between staff, physicians and administration
