Job summary

Los Alamos Medical Center, a Lifepoint Health facility, seeks an experienced RN House Supervisor in Los Alamos, NM. The role provides administrative and clinical leadership on assigned shifts, coordinating patient care and staffing to ensure quality outcomes and safety.

Required NM or Compact State RN license, ADN, BLS; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $30,000 plus comprehensive benefits. Schedule: 3x12 nights with rotating weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Current NM or Compact State RN license.
• ADN required; BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred but must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational oversight of hospital departments during assigned shifts.
• Coordinate staffing assignments based on census, acuity, and patient care needs.
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for nursing and ancillary staff.
• Support patient throughput, admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Respond to and coordinate emergency situations, rapid responses, and critical incidents.
• Monitor patient care standards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Facilitate communication between departments, providers, patients, and families.
• Assist with conflict resolution, service recovery, and patient concerns.
• Participate in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives.
• Maintain accurate documentation and administrative reports as required.
