Job summary

IU Health Fort Wayne is seeking an RN House Supervisor to provide clinical and operational leadership across the hospital, ensuring high-quality patient care and support for nursing teams, physicians, and interdisciplinary partners.

The role requires strong leadership, 5–7 years of nursing experience, and an active Indiana RN license with BLS. This full-time night-shift position offers growth opportunities within Indiana's largest health system.

Qualifications

• BSN required or equivalent nursing experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLCRN.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; unit-specific ALS may be required.
• 5–7 years of relevant nursing and leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clinical oversight for hospital operations during assigned shifts.
• Serve as a resource and leader for nursing staff, physicians, and ancillary departments.
• Coordinate patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and throughput initiatives.
• Support quality, safety, and regulatory compliance standards across the hospital.
• Respond to critical situations, facilitate problem resolution, and ensure continuity of care.
• Foster a collaborative and patient-centered culture aligning with IU Health's mission.
