Qualifications

• BSN/BAN required within two years of start date
• Montana RN licensure current
• AHA BLS certification current
• ACLS within 60 days of start date
• PALS within 60 days of start date
• NIHSS certification within 6 months of hire
• 2 years RN experience
• prior supervisory/leadership experience
• 5 years acute care nursing with varied experience
• 2 hours trauma-related education annually
• 6 hours stroke training annually (NIHSS count)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care across hospital and outpatient areas.
• Serve as liaison for staff, patients, families, providers, and external partners.
• Expedite admission, discharge, and transfer decisions.
• Facilitate emergency surgical communication with OR and procedural areas.
• Initiate and facilitate hospital organ donation protocols.
• Lead nursing rounds and ensure staffing aligns with needs and productivity goals.
• Provide cross-departmental support as needed.
• Respond to escalations from staff and patients in real time.
• Uphold hospital policies and promote Bozeman Health culture.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN/BAN)

Montana Licensure Registered Nurse (RN)

AHA BLS certification

AHA ACLS certification

AHA PALS certification

NIHSS certification

Leadership/ Supervisory experience
