Job summary

Bozeman Health seeks a Registered Nurse to join a collaborative team in Bozeman, MT. The RN will assess patient needs, educate patients and families, and initiate appropriate interventions in a fast-paced care setting.

The role requires Montana RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS within specified timelines, and at least 1 year of acute care experience. Procedural sedation experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Montana RN license and active licensure to practice in Montana.
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• PALS certification required within 60 days of start date.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience.
• Competence in modified primary nursing.
• Two hours of initial cerebrovascular disease education within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or the situation.
• Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues.
• Identify expected outcomes and develop individualized plan of care.
• Implement plan of care and promote health and safety.
• Collaborate with patient, family and team; participate in professional development.
• Incorporate ethical provisions and research findings into practice.
