Job summary

Cone Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced RN House Supervisor to oversee 24/7 hospital operations and ensure adherence to health system policies and regulatory standards. The role coordinates quality patient care and serves as after-hours and weekend leadership, addressing concerns and facilitating throughput.

The position requires a BSN with 3+ years of RN experience; a Master's degree in nursing is preferred. Licensure as an NC RN or Compact state, plus BLS/ACLS, is required.

Qualifications

• BSN required; MSN preferred.
• 3+ years of RN experience; leadership/critical care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing services with department leadership to ensure adequate staffing and resources.
• Collaborate with health care team for patient placement decisions.
• Expedite patient throughput with department charge nurses and providers.
• Assist with triaging and admission prioritization to facilitate throughput.
• Respond to campus emergency alerts and coordinate patient movements as needed.
• Consult with staff, physicians, and outside agencies on operational issues.
