Job description

We are seeking a dedicated RN Charge Nurse specializing in Labor & Delivery to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Labor & Delivery and a proven track record in a charge nurse role. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high standards of patient care and staff leadership within the Labor & Delivery unit.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of the Labor & Delivery unit.
• Provide clinical leadership and support to nursing staff.
• Ensure proper patient care delivery and adherence to protocols.
• Coordinate patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to address patient care concerns and operational improvements.
• Monitor patient outcomes and work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams.
• Help train and orient new staff members.

Schedule

This position requires working 12-hour shifts from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN license in the state of practice.
• Experience in Labor & Delivery is essential.
• Completion of the Prime CA Sexual Harassment Prevention Training.
• All required health and safety clearances must be completed prior to onboarding.

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.
