Mount Carmel Behavioral Health Hospital in Columbus, OH, is seeking an RN House Supervisor to lead nursing operations across shifts. You will manage census and acuity, ensure staffing ratios, supervise care delivery, and coordinate physician orders and care plans.

A BSN and active RN license are required, with leadership experience preferred. Responsibilities include enforcing policies, mentoring staff, and maintaining quality patient safety standards.

Qualifikationen

• Ensure chart checks are completed, seclusion/restraint log is up to date and nursing assessments are completed, as well as MARs and report sheets are kept accurate and up to date.
• Rounds are completed at the beginning of shift and perform random audits.
• Assist nursing leaders to make sure all staff are oriented and competent to perform required duties. May include coaching staff.
• Provide mentoring and training as needed.
• Assist the nursing leadership team by ensuring facility compliance with professional, regulatory and governmental standards.
• Ensure the effective delivery of competent, compassionate and safe care by monitoring and evaluating patient care processes and outcomes on the patient care units.
• Coordinate all care rendered to patients, including physician orders and diagnostic information, and ensure consultations are ordered.
• Document medical, behavioral health information and nursing care.
• Administer medications and maintain records in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in developing a plan of care with specific and measurable goals, objectives and interventions defining actions unique to each patient’s needs.
• Prioritize tasks and delegate staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Leader on shift for admissions/discharges, informing physician of changes in patient conditions; adjust staffing accordingly.
• Utilize administrator-on-call for situations that require additional attention.
• Provides direct care as needed.

Shift: 6a - 6:30p

Schedule: every other Saturday/Sunday

AND

Shift: 7a - 7:30p

Schedule: Weekday

Pay Range:

$43.94 to $68.10 per hour (dependent on years of experience)

Qualifications
