Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an RN House Operations Administrator to serve as the on-site clinical and operational leader during assigned shifts when senior leadership is not present. You will oversee hospital-wide operations, patient flow, staffing, safety, and emergency response to ensure safe, high-quality patient care across all units.

The role requires 3+ years of progressive nursing leadership, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
• Master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of progressive nursing experience with leadership.
• 1 year in critical care/high-acuity setting preferred.
• RN license IL (IDFPR) required; BLS required; ACLS required or within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Exercises independent judgment as house-wide supervisory clinical/operational authority during shifts.
• Directs real-time shift-based clinical activity including patient flow, staffing, resource allocation, and incident response.
• Conducts regular rounds to monitor acuity and ensure standards of care.
• Directs staffing and resource allocation across units based on census and skill mix.
• Leads hospital emergency response (RRTs, Code Blue) and ensures regulatory compliance.
