Job summary

LifeBridge Health operates Carroll Hospital in Westminster, MD, seeking an Hospital Operations Coordinator (RN) to lead patient flow and occupancy policies. You will collaborate with admitting, medical records, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.

The role requires an active Maryland RN license, NIH Stroke Scale, ACLS, and BLS. You will supervise staff in the absence of leadership and help drive improvements in clinical efficiency.

Qualifications

• RN license current in Maryland or eligible.
• Certification in NIH Stroke Scale required.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and facilitate patient flow; support triage and occupancy policies.
• Ensure timely admissions/transfers and coordinate patient movement.
• Interpret policies for staff; act as administrative liaison.
• Supervise hospital personnel in manager/director absence.
• Lead organizational changes; model professional behavior.
• Oversee Admitting and Medical Records in staff gaps.
• Apply strong communication and problem-solving to resolve issues.
• Maintain professional growth via CEU, training, and competencies.
• Respond to emergency codes; ensure safety and documentation.
• Coordinate staffing by acuity; mentor supplemental staff; assess observers.
