Job summary

MultiCare Capital Medical Center is seeking a float pool staff RN to join the hospital-based team and support multiple acute care departments in Olympia, Washington. This .9 FTE position offers day shifts with scheduling TBD, and opportunities to apply specialized nursing skills in a multidisciplinary environment.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in Nursing (or equivalent within five years), an active WA RN license or MLS, and a current BLS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing, or obtained within five (5) years from the initial date of hire; RN with 15+ years of service or internal candidates hired before January 1, 2021 may be considered in satisfaction of this requirement in lieu of an education agreement.
• Current Washington State RN license or Multistate License endorsement (MLS) is required.
• Current BLS Certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years of hospital nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis.
• Utilize the nursing knowledge base to deliver care using the nursing process according to hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care, patient experience and cost management.
