Hospice Executive Director

As the Hospice Executive Director, you will be responsible for implementing company policy and mission by maintaining appropriate staffing levels, meeting set standards and goals, and ensuring the long-term fiscal viability of the program(s). You will lead the overall management, growth, and culture of the home health/hospice services, overseeing staffing, budgets, leadership, and marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing hospice operations management.
  2. Developing and monitoring the branch budget.
  3. Analyzing profit factors, market conditions, and operational costs.
  4. Driving branch growth by expanding client base.
  5. Partnering with recruiters for staffing needs.
  6. Overseeing patient intake and needs assessment with clinical resources.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse license.
  • At least eight years of healthcare administration experience.
  • Minimum of three years in hospice operations management.
  • Experience with budget development and monitoring.
  • Knowledge of federal and state healthcare regulations.
  • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Local market experience is a plus.
