Job summary

Gulfside Healthcare Services, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Pasco County field teams on the second shift (4p–1a, M-F). A $2,000 sign-on bonus is offered and the role features a market-competitive salary with a lucrative shift differential.

Nurses will care for patients in private residences, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities, with training provided and a focus on patient-centered care and work-life balance.

Qualifications

• Active Florida RN license or Compact State RN license required.
• Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred.
• Hospice, home health, case management, or acute care experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills.
• Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently while supporting a team-based approach to care.

Responsibilities

• Manages an assigned patient caseload and develops individualized care plans.
• Collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care.

The Registered Nurse manages an assigned patient caseload, develops individualized care plans, collaborates with physicians and interdisciplinary team members, and provides guidance and support to LPNs, CNAs, and other members of the care team. Patients are seen in private residences, assisted living communities, and skilled nursing facilities.

No hospice experience? That's okay! We provide training and encourage RNs from all backgrounds to apply.

Requirements

• Active Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license or Compact State RN license required
• Minimum of one (1) year nursing experience preferred
• Hospice, home health, case management, or acute care experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, critical thinking, and time management skills
• Compassionate, organized, and able to work independently while supporting a team-based approach to care
• Valid Florida driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance required
• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) preferred
