Role Description:

The Director of Nursing / Director of Clinical Services directs and manages the interdisciplinary teams to meet the needs of hospice patients and families in accordance with company policies. The DON / DCS communicates patient information to the business office and fosters positive relationships with families, physicians, and other agencies. The DON / DCS also serves as the agency's alternate Administrator, responsible for administrative and management functions in the absence of the Executive Director/Administrator.

Qualifications:

• Registered Nurse licensed in the state of employment.
• Understanding and acceptance of hospice philosophy.
• Minimum of 3 years in hospice leadership.
• Computer proficiency and experience with hospice EMR systems.

• High integrity, including confidentiality of personnel and patient records.

Education and Experience:

Registered Nurse with a minimum of three years in hospice leadership is required.
