Job summary

Redcrest Hospice is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Manager at IU Health Bloomington Hospital in Bloomington, Indiana. You will oversee patient care delivery, develop and support a high-performing team, and drive quality, compliance, and service excellence.

This leadership role requires three years of hospice RN experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to coach staff. You will ensure Start of Care compliance, participate in IDG meetings, manage on-call duties, and collaborate

Qualifications

• Three years of RN experience in hospice.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and customer focus.
• Detail-oriented with ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
• Ability to lead and coach a diverse field staff.
• Knowledge of nursing best practices and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee patient care delivery across hospice services.
• Coach and support field staff to achieve quality outcomes.
• Collaborate with Medical Director to guide care and compliance.
• Monitor Start of Care and Outcome Monitors.
• Lead field quality improvement initiatives.
• Manage on-call rotation and staff scheduling.
• Oversee cost efficiency including overtime and visits per episode.
• Coordinate with billing for authorizations and exceptions.
• Maintain relationships with referral sources.
• Ensure compliance with IDG meetings and documentation.
• Support Director of Nursing as needed.
