Job summary

VITAS Healthcare Corporation is seeking a Patient Care Administrator (PCA) to join the senior leadership team for a VITAS service area, ensuring clinical, financial, and operational aspects of hospice run smoothly within your purview.

You will support the interdisciplinary team, coach members, consult on clinical matters, and drive performance improvement to elevate the patient experience. PCAs work at a local VITAS office daily, with RN licensure and management experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the state where the VITAS Program is located.
• Two years of home health and hospice experience.
• Four years of healthcare management experience.
• Hands-on fiscal and budgetary experience.
• Experience managing a team of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead service area operations overseeing clinical, financial, and operational aspects.
• Support interdisciplinary team members including nurses, social workers, chaplains.
• Coach team members and consult on clinical matters.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to elevate patient experience.
