Job summary

VITAS Healthcare is seeking a Patient Care Administrator (PCA) to join the senior leadership team for a local service area, ensuring clinical, financial, and operational hospice functions run smoothly under your purview.

You will support the interdisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, and chaplains, coach leaders, and drive performance improvement to elevate patient care and ensure compassionate, quality outcomes for patients and families.

Qualifications

• RN license valid in the state where the VITAS Program is located.
• Minimum four years of healthcare management experience.
• Two years of home health and hospice experience.
• Hands-on fiscal and budgeting experience.
• Experience managing a team of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Support the interdisciplinary team and coach team members.
• Ensure clinical, financial, and operational hospice aspects run smoothly.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to elevate patient care.
• Work daily at a local VITAS office.
