Job summary

VITAS Healthcare in New Jersey seeks a Patient Care Administrator (PCA) to join our senior leadership for a service area, ensuring the clinical, financial, and operational hospice operations run smoothly under your oversight.

You will lead and coach the interdisciplinary team, including nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other professionals, maintain high-quality care, and drive performance improvements to extend comfort and dignity at the end of life.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse License to practice in the state where the VITAS Program is located.
• Two years of home health and hospice experience.
• Four years of healthcare management experience.
• Hands-on fiscal and budgetary experience.
• Experience managing a team of leaders.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach interdisciplinary team members including nurses, social workers, chaplains and others.
• Oversee the clinical, financial, and operational aspects of hospice within your purview.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives to elevate patient experience and care quality.
• Ensure quality and continuity of care for patients and families.
• Collaborate with leadership to maintain staffing, budgets and compliance.
