Qualifications

Graduate of school of professional nursing of an accredited college or graduate of an approved program eligible to sit for the VA licensure exam.
Currently licensed as Registered Nurse in Virginia or eligible to obtain Virginia RN licensure.
Life Support: AHA BLS-HCP required. May be required to obtain/maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP based on specific work unit.
Computer skills required for electronic medical record (EPIC).

Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients of all ages.
Collaborate with health care team, patient, and family to develop a care plan.
Provide high quality, compassionate nursing care and advocate for patient rights.
Support performance improvement activities and education for staff.
