Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with Pediatric and Adult patients in their own homes in the Farmington, MN area.

The position offers part-time or full-time hours with hourly pay and comprehensive benefits. The RN will provide skilled nursing care in the patient’s home, adhere to prescribed orders, and monitor patient conditions, documenting findings and nursing diagnoses.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the state where practice occurs.
• Current TB test or Chest X-Ray documentation.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• One year of professional nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Provide skilled nursing care/services per prescribed orders on each assignment.
• Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in patient condition.
• Collect, analyze, and document data and nursing diagnoses.

Education

Registered Nurse (RN) license

TB test or Chest X-Ray

Current BLS certification

1 year nursing experience preferred
