Job summary

AdventHealth seeks a Registered Nurse for home health in Temple Terrace, FL. You will evaluate home environments for safety, provide skilled nursing care, and coordinate care plans with physicians and the healthcare team.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN license, and 1+ relevant clinical home health experience. Travel to assigned counties is required; pay range listed is $33.11–$61.60 per hour with benefits from day one.

Qualifications

Functions with a high degree of independence.
Ability to delegate tasks to appropriate personnel.
Strong computer and technology skills.
Working knowledge of community resources and appropriate referrals (preferred).
Home care regulations and third-party reimbursement impact care delivery (preferred).
Current IV therapy skills (preferred).

Responsibilities

Evaluate the home environment for safety, infection control and community resources needs.
Review patient history, tests and labs; report abnormal results to physician and implement care plans.
Provide skilled nursing care and prescribed treatments in home settings.
Use health coaching to engage patients in care management.
Maintain clinical records and care plan updates.
Develop patient-specific care plans with patient, family, and physician.
