Job summary

The manager will collaborate with physicians, administrators, and staff to develop care plans, allocate resources, and maintain compliance, while providing leadership and support to a dedicated home health team.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state(s) where practicing.
• 3–5 years experience in health care/home care (preferred).
• 2 years supervisory experience (preferred).
• Knowledge of community health principles and agency policies.
• Ability to supervise, guide, and develop staff.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Participates in developing standards for safe and effective patient care.
• Participates in establishing agency objectives and staffing plans.
• Recruits, hires, evaluates, and terminates service personnel.
• Plans orientation and training for new employees; conducts selected classes.
• Ensures policies and procedures meet Medicare, Medicaid, and accrediting body requirements.
• Oversees coordination of patient care and referrals with physicians.
