Job summary

Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse with ventilator management experience to provide in-home care for adult patients. The role requires nursing assessment, medication administration, and coordination of care with supervising physicians.

Qualifications

• Current RN license for the state of practice.
• Current Health Certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Uses the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates plan of care and revises as patient status changes.
• Applies therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Intervenes for changes in patient condition and reports to physician/supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews care plans and coordinates education and discharge planning.
