Job summary
Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse with ventilator management experience to provide in-home care for adult patients. The role emphasizes applying the nursing process to deliver high-quality, patient-centered services in the patient’s own home environment.
The position requires current LPN/LVN licensure, BLS certification, and compliance with health screenings. Candidates with prior home-health nursing are encouraged to apply, with competitive pay and benefits provided.
Qualifications
- Currently licensed as an LPN/LVN in the state where the LPN will practice.
- Current TB or Chest X-Ray.
- Current BLS card.
- One year prior professional nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- On each assignment, provides skilled nursing care/services in accordance with prescribed orders
- Assess signs and symptoms indicating physiologic and psychosocial changes in the patient’s condition.
- Collects, analyzes, and interprets data and information from health care members and documents actual and/or potential nursing diagnoses.
